Leipzig / Teltow, 20 January 2021, 01:25 p.m. - According to preliminary figures, the Management Board of co.don Aktiengesellschaft, Teltow (ISIN DE000A1K0227; WKN A1K022) ('Company') expects consolidated sales of EUR 6.2 million (-9% compared to 2019; 2019: EUR 6.9 million) and sales in the individual financial statements of EUR 5.6 million (-14.8% compared to 2019; 2019: EUR 6.6 million) for the past financial year 2020. The company therefore does not reach its own objective of moderately higher consolidated sales and individual financial statements compared to the previous year. While sales in Germany were maintained at around the previous year's level despite the Covid-19 pandemic (-3% compared to 2019) and sales in the Netherlands were significantly expanded (+292%), business in the UK and Austria fell well short of expectations due to the particularly difficult situation with regards to the Covid-19 pandemic in these countries. Additionally, the milestone payment from the Russian partner Generium that would have been due in December 2020 under the license agreement is postponed to 2021 as a consequence of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The Management Board does not expect any deviation in the consolidated net income according to IFRS and the net loss according to German GAAP compared to the 2020 forecast.

All figures are preliminary and unaudited. The final and audited results for the 2020 financial year will be published 30 April 2021.
