IRVINE, CA - City National, California's Premier Private and Business Bank, today announced that it has named Robert Iritani as the new regional executive for its Orange County Region. Iritani, who is a resident of Orange County, also serves as executive vice president and head of City National's Specialty Banking Division. He assumed his current position in 2006 and is a member of the bank's Executive Committee.

Iritani replaces Kevin Dunigan as he retires after 17 years with City National. Dunigan has served as the Orange County regional executive for the past seven years as well as executive vice president and the head of Core Banking since joining City National in 1999.

Iritani oversees a team of more than 140 banking professionals in the Structured Finance, Syndications, Capital Finance, International Banking and Trade Finance, Foreign Exchange, Interest Rate Risk Management, Healthcare, Franchise Finance, Mortgage Warehouse Lending and Municipal Finance departments. As the regional executive, Iritani will have indirect responsibility for an additional 120 colleagues representing Core Banking, Commercial Banking Services, Private Client Services, Real Estate, and more.

Iritani, who began his banking career in 1980, joined City National in 1998 as senior vice president and manager of the bank's Corporate Banking department. Prior to joining City National, he spent seven years at Wells Fargo Bank where he served in a variety of corporate,

commercial and entertainment lending positions. Iritani also worked for Union Bank of California for several years serving in a variety of positions including commercial banking, private banking and leasing.

Iritani is actively involved in the community serving as a board member of the Los Angeles World Affairs Council, and member of the Pacific Council on International Policy and the Bankers Association for Finance and Trade. He is a volunteer mentor with the Professional Mentorship Program at the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado, Boulder. Iritani also serves as a Business Advisory councilmember of Pepperdine University's Seaver College and is a member of the Pepperdine Associates.

Iritani graduated from the University of Colorado, Boulder, where he earned a bachelor's degree in Finance.
