(b) On December 7, 2022, Chubb Limited ("Company") announced in an internal communication to employees that Paul J. Krump, Vice Chairman, Chubb Group, Global Underwriting and Claims, and a named executive officer of the Company, intends to retire January 1, 2023.

On December 7, 2022, the Company announced in an internal communication to employees from Evan G. Greenberg, the Company's Chairman and CEO, the retirement of Mr. Krump. A copy of the announcement is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated into this Item 7.01 by reference.
