CYPC successfully issues scientific and technological innovation corporate bonds

On June 8, CYPC successfully completed the bookkeeping and filing of the first phase of scientific and technological innovation short-term corporate bonds in 2023, with an issuing scale of CNY 3 billion for 130 days, and a coupon rate of 2.19%. This issuance has received extensive participation and active subscription from market investors. On June 12, the bond funds raised were received, marking the successful completion of this issuance.

China Securities Regulatory Commission and State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council jointly issued the Notice on Supporting Central Enterprises to Issue Science and Technology Innovation Corporate Bonds in November 2022, clearly proposing to support and encourage the enterprises to issue science and technology innovation corporate bonds for financing. CYPC has actively responded to regulatory requirements and effectively promoted the innovation of financing types in the bond market. In this stage, the first scientific and technological innovation corporate bonds of CYPC were issued.

In recent years, CYPC has closely focused on the business field of the hydropower industry chain, made every effort to promote the research and development of key core technologies such as the combined optimal scheduling of cascade power stations in the basin and the construction of "smart CYPC", highlighted new energy and energy storage technology, multi-energy complement, electrification of the Yangtze River, hydrogenation of the Yangtze River and other emerging models for scientific and technological innovation, and strived to make breakthroughs and master more original, leading and landmark innovation achievements to fully play the strategic support role of technological innovation in reform and development.
