HOSTING CAPACITY WITH INFINITY

London, 24 January 2012: Cable&Wireless Worldwide (CWW) today announced that it will expand its data hosting capacity by 25 per cent through a 15-year agreement with specialist data centre operator, Infinity. The multi million pound investment reinforces CWW's commitment to hosting services and illustrates the board's willingness to support core capabilities. This builds on investments already underway to expand the company's existing Tier 3 data centres in Leeds and Swindon.

Based at a secure site in the South East of England, the new 4.3MW Tier III certified facility will become available from late 2012 and ensures that the company can support the increasing demands from clients for secure, robust and reliable hosting and shared services solutions.
Commenting on the development, Gavin Darby, chief executive, Cable&Wireless Worldwide said, "Data hosting is one of our critical areas of focus for the near future and will be a vital part of our return to growth. This announcement highlights the details of the plans we outlined in November last year.
