7th July 2016 London: Brady plc (BRY.L), the leading supplier of trading and risk management solutions for commodities, energy and recycling, announced today that Toyota Tsusho Metals Limited (TTM) has selected Brady's Cloud-based Commodity Trading and Risk Management solution to facilitate its commodity trading operation.

Toyota Tsusho Metals Limited (TTM), a wholly owned subsidiary of Toyota Tsusho Corporation Group, headquartered in Nagoya, Japan, specialises in futures and options trading in the non-ferrous metals market on the London Metal Exchange. TTM is an Associate Broker Clearing Member (Category 2) of the LME and an Associate Member of the London Platinum and Palladium Market.

John Wilkes, Chief Operating Officer at Toyota Tsusho Metals Limited, commented on the decision process involved: 'Having researched the options available across the market in the CTRM space, it was clear that the combination of the comprehensive solution, along with the subject matter expertise of the team, made Brady the obvious partner for us. Brady's solution provides us with both the flexibility and scalability required to meet our needs as we expand our product offering.'

TTM will deploy Brady's solution for its London and Nagoya locations to support the company's global hedging and clearing functions across LME, CME, ICE, TOCOM, LBMA and LPPM for both listed and OTC trading. The implementation of Brady will give the trading team the latest trading and risk management capabilities across multiple products, including base, minor and precious metals, softs, freight and FX. TTM will benefit from enhanced automated straight-through processing of trades available for the LME and CME, offering real-time trade flow between the front and middle office, eliminating any risk of dual-keying and re-entry errors. The solution provides complete front-to-back functionality, from real-time position and P&L management, native connectivity to LMEsmart, stress testing and VaR, margin calculation and automated trade confirmation, client statements and invoices.

Gary Vasey, Managing Partner at the leading independent ECTRM analysts, Commodity Technology Advisory, commented: 'Brady PLC are consistently seen as the leader in providing comprehensive metals trading & risk software solutions in ComTech's vendor perceptions survey held every two years and soliciting feedback from users and implementation consultants in commodities. In the soon to be published 2016 Vendor Perception study, Brady has extended its perceived market leadership in both precious and base metals over the last two years'.

Gavin Lavelle, CEO of Brady, said: 'The current challenging market conditions make it imperative that industrial companies have access to the right tools to identify and mitigate risk and maximise their efficiency. TTM will service its global operations by running its mission-critical systems from Brady's Cloud environment. This will provide them with a solution that is scalable as they enter new markets and is underpinned by a secure environment ensuring high availability and robust disaster recovery capability at an overall lower total cost of ownership.

Toyota Tsusho is a complex business and I am delighted that they have chosen Brady to provide the solution. Their choice is a strong endorsement of our technical abilities and our market knowledge'.
