Progenity Appoints Brian Kotzin to its Board of Directors

Progenity reported the appointment of Brian Kotzin, M.D., to its board of directors. Dr. Kotzin's experience in the development of novel biotherapeutics, especially in autoimmune and inflammatory diseases, will provide valuable guidance as the company advances its pipeline of precision therapeutics/biotherapeutics and diagnostics. Dr. Kotzin is a Board of Directors member at Rigel, currently serves as a Principal Fellow and Senior Vice President for Nektar Therapeutics, and consults for companies developing therapeutics for autoimmune and inflammatory diseases. His previous roles include Vice President of Global Clinical Development and Head of the Inflammation Therapeutic Area and Vice President and Head of Medical Sciences at Amgen.
