Biancamano : Contract with Ecodom Consortium for Weee disposal

Rozzano (MI), 12 November 2014 BIANCAMANO: CONTRACT WITH ECODOM CONSORTIUM FOR WEEE (Waste Electric and Electronic Equipments) DISPOSAL

Biancamano Spa, a company listed on the Star segment of Borsa Italiana, and leading private operator in Italian Waste Management industry, through its subsidiary company Aimeri Ambiente Srl, signed a contract with Ecodom - Italian consortium for reuse and recycling of household electrical appliances.
The contract includes the treatment of about 1,000 ton/year of waste coming from South Piemonte re cycling area and belonging to R2 category (large white appliances) that is washing machines, dishwashing, ovens etc. The WEEE treatment will be carried out in the disposal plant of Mondovì (CN), authorized to reclying WEEE in line with the "WEEE Decree", D.Lgs. 151/2005.
Ecodom is the national non- profit collective system which manages the transport and treatment of WEEE (categories R1, R2, R4) at end of life, and it is composed by main national producers of household electrical appliances. In 2013 Ecodom managed the 31.4% (in terms of waste ton) of WEEE collected in Italy.
