The free app gives consumers portable control of Rocketboost, Best Buy's wireless audio technology

MINNEAPOLIS, January 23, 2011 - Best Buy today launched the Rocketboost Control App, the first app that gives consumers remote control over their Rocketboost-enabled home audio products. Available for the PC and iOS devices, the app enhances the usability of a wide portfolio of products including the Rocketfish Bookshelf Speakers, Insignia Connected TV and Rocketfish Indoor/Outdoor Speakers that feature Rocketboost, Best Buy's breakthrough wireless audio technology that enables uncompressed HD-quality audio streaming across devices and brands.

The Rocketboost Control App lets users direct their audio from their PC or other Rocketboost-enabled device, including the Rocketfish Wireless Bookshelf Speakers and the Insignia Soundbar. The app allows users to easily view their music playlist on their iOS device and send it to various speakers throughout the home, controlling where, when and what they are listening to with a swipe of their finger.
