Plans for high quality extra care accommodation for older people are to be unveiled at a Public Engagement Event:

on:Tuesday 16th October between 4pm and 7pmat: St Francis Church, Sandringham Road, Cleethorpes, DN35 9HA

There is a clear requirement to address the housing needs of elderly people in Grimsby & Cleethorpes and in order to help achieve this Morgan Ashley and North East Lincolnshire CCG formed a partnership to deliver 300 extra care apartments in the area.

Extra care housing supports elderly people to live safely and independently with easy access to social activities, in the knowledge that care is at hand when required.

This proposed state of the art development is being led by Morgan Ashley and designed by award-winning architects, melt. The scheme will provide 90 apartments for older people together with a lounge, a dining room serving hot meals, hairdresser and buggy store.

Morgan Ashley will be responsible for the construction and delivery of the building with Places for People the selected registered provider who will be responsible for day to day operations.

We are keen to share with you our proposals for the development. All members of the local community are invited to pop-in on Monday between 4pm and 7pm to meet with the team, to see our proposals, discuss them with us and give feedback prior to Morgan Ashley submitting the formal planning application.
