Arena UK & Europe's specialist mass participation staff supported the Cancer Research UK Race for Life in Hyde Park, Sunday July 23 2017.

Thousands of female runners and walkers, including many celebrities, took part in the event, which featured 5k and 10k races. With over 5,000 competitors it's the biggest Race for Life event in the UK.

Arena's crew supplied key elements of the event's infrastructure including the Bronze stage and gantry, Silver gantry, three clocks to keep competitors informed on their progress and a reflection area where runners could pose for photographs to thank the people who had sponsored them.

We also delivered three market stalls - one for the 10k water station - a 10k tall sign and 600 barriers to divide up the site and section off the race course.

Steve Shaw, from Arena Group, said: 'It's a privilege to once again work on the Cancer Research UK 'Race for Life' events, delivering our specialist kit and logistically precise installations throughout the busy streets of the capital. Congratulations to everyone who took part; we work on these events all year round and they never fail to inspire us.'
