Alltel Corporation : Alltel Declares Quarterly Dividends of 12 1/2 Cents Per Share

Alltel's (NYSE:AT) board of directors today declared regular quarterly dividends on the company's common stock. The 12 1/2 cent dividend is payable Oct. 3, 2007, to stockholders of record as of Sept. 7, 2007.

Regular quarterly dividends also were declared on all series of the company's preferred stock. Preferred dividends are payable Sept. 15, 2007, to stockholders of record as of Aug. 24, 2007.

Alltel is owner and operator of the nation's largest wireless network and has 12 million wireless customers.
