Madrid, July 20th.- ADVEO has ended its workforce restructuring process with two agreements to outsource its customer service and to reduce the number of employees in the logistics area, prior to outsource this activity. Together with the restructuring process executed in March 2016, this process now culminates the workforce restructuring process in Spain.

On July 3rd, the company signed an agreement with the works council to outsource the customer service, which affects 17 employees in this area.

And today both parts confirmed the agreement in the context of the redundancy plan that affects the logistics staff, currently with 120 employees. This plan initially considered 66 redundancies, but after this agreement there will be only 56 dismissals, among which, 45 affect warehouse employees and 11, office workers who supported the logistics activity. This agreement also involves adapting shifts and work schedules to the existing needs and this will probably lead to outsource these duties, something usual in the industry. As a result, 56 employees will keep their jobs, since they will be transferred to the new external operator that will now be in charge of the warehouse management, while the other 8 employees will stay as part of ADVEO's workforce, which will have around 90 employees in Spain.

These concluded processes, announced by the company on June 22nd, will allow ADVEO to focus on the objectives established in the new Strategic Plan 2017-2020 from a more competitive position, which will lead to a complete transformation of the current business model.
