The company's second ESG Report was published today

In 2021, AbitareIn produced value of EUR 127m, distributing EUR 125.5m to the region and stakeholders. In fact, 92% of what was distributed went to the supply chain located mainly in Lombardy and almost entirely in Italy, remunerating an important induced activity, measurable in thousands of people. Of the remainder, 4% contributed to the remuneration of the public administration, 2% to employees and, finally, the last 2% went to financiers and shareholders. This focus on the value generated for the territory and the communities hosting AbitareIn's projects is also in line with the environmental improvement activities the company has undertaken.

With the realisation of the current development pipeline, AbitareIn will achieve the result of 36,200 square metres of redeveloped urban territory, of which more than 2,000 square metres of asbestos will be removed. Eight geothermal plants, 12 rainwater recovery plants, and 20 photovoltaic plants will be built: technical and technological solutions that will lead the almost 3,000 housing units built - in energy class A1 or higher - to save 24,452 MWh per year, which translates into 8,566 tons of CO2 less emitted into the atmosphere during the use of the buildings, and in 6,733 MWh per year of energy from renewable sources.

Moreover, as part of its environmental impact on the territory, AbitareIn develops its projects by dedicating ample space to native green areas, improving the liveability of the surrounding urban fabric, with the aim also of fostering sociality within the neighbourhoods in which it is present.
