Inspections of U.S. grain exports were generally on par with totals released last week, the U.S. Department of Agriculture reported.

In its latest grain export inspections report for the week ended May 25, the USDA said corn export inspections totaled 1.31 million metric tons, soybean inspections totaled 239,736 tons, and wheat inspections totaled 382,031 tons.

Corn inspections were slightly down versus this time last week, while soybean inspections were higher than last week and wheat was lower.

Thailand was the biggest destination for U.S. wheat for the week, China was the biggest destination for corn, and Indonesia was the biggest destination for soybeans.

Total corn inspections for the marketing year are slowly closing the gap versus last week's total but remain over 32% off.

Grain futures trading on the CBOT are down in trading Tuesday, with most-active corn futures down 1.5%, soybeans down 2.1%, and wheat down 3.6%.
