Today, Western Medical Center Santa Ana, in an effort to continuously improve quality healthcare in Orange County, announced their partnership with CEP America to manage and staff the hospital’s Emergency Department, effective January 1, 2015.

CEP America, one of the nation’s largest providers of acute care management solutions, has a history of developing processes and initiatives to better integrate hospital departments and improve the overall patient experience.

“As we looked to improve care in our emergency department, it became apparent that CEP America was the logical choice to build upon our desire to provide optimum health care services to Orange County residents,” said Western Medical Center Santa Ana CEO Suzanne Richards. “Working together, we will be able to deliver high-quality care to every patient that comes to the emergency department.”

A leader in acute care services management, CEP America’s client hospitals frequently report an average time-to-provider that is significantly lower than the national average. The organization has also set a target for all their ED partners to improve a patient’s time to disposition, thereby reducing the amount of time a patient spends in the ED.
