Andwele Jolly, a business director in the Department of Medicine at the School of Medicine, is one of 11 midcareer professionals chosen from a national pool of candidates for a prestigious Eisenhower Fellowship.

Jolly is business director in the Divisions of Allergy & Immunology, Rheumatology and Hematology. The Eisenhower Fellowships program aims to enhance international understanding and promote peaceful dialogue.

The 2018 fellows are 'thought leaders' in sustainable food production, quantum computing, transportation, sustainable design, education, labor migration and health care. Since 1999, the program has sent nearly 300 U.S. citizens and permanent residents abroad.
