Verizon, INDYCAR, and the Indianapolis Motor Speedway will announce a HopeLine drive for the month of May to raise critical funds and awareness for domestic violence prevention. The drive allows racing fans for the first time to bring their no-longer-used wireless phones and accessories from any carrier to donation sites throughout Indiana. A $50,000 HopeLine grant will be presented to the Indiana Coalition Against Domestic Violence to immediately replenish its Emergency Housing and Transportation Survivor Fund. Donation sites will be available for fans on FIVE key racing dates: Angie's List Grand Prix, Indianapolis 500 Qualifications, Old National Armed Forces Pole Day, Coors Light Carb Day and the Indianapolis 500 (gates 1, 3, 9 and 10-A for all events).
