In 2017, the power plants of Unipro PJSC generated 48.2 bn kWh, which is 11.5% less compared to the same period of 2016.
The reduction in generation was caused by the down time of the generating equipment in cold reserve in accordance with the System Operator scheduling, as well as the break in activity due to the chief inspection of the CCGT power units of Shaturskya GRES and Surgutskaya GRES-2, and upgrade of the CCGT gas turbine of Yaivinskaya GRES.
In 2017 heat production totalled to 2127.1 thous. Gcal (-1% compared to the same period of 2016). Slight decline is due to weather conditions.
