According to the statistics of TWSE, TAIEX closed at 7,756.18 on January 22, 2016, down 5.83 from last week's (January 15, 2016) 7,762.01, a decrease of approximately 0.08%. The FTSE TWSE Taiwan 50 Index closed at 5,647.52, down 41.88 from last week's 5,689.40, a decrease of approximately 0.74%. The Formosa Index closed at 9,014.69, down 4.84 from last week's 9,019.53, a decrease of approximately 0.05%.
The total trading value for year-to-date on the TWSE market was 1.28 trillion NTD.
The total market capitalization of the TWSE-listed Stocks amounted to 22.80 trillion NTD at the end of this week.
