Lumber production by sawmills increased 2.2% from September to 5 683.3 thousand cubic metres in October. Compared with October 2014, lumber production rose 7.0%.
Sawmills shipped 5 875.6 thousand cubic metres of lumber in October, up 4.7% from September. Shipments rose 10.3% compared with October 2014.
