Southside Farm Services of Corsica was honored by the South Dakota Farm Bureau (SDFB) with the 'Friend of Agriculture' award, in recognition for its service to the agriculture community in Corsica and the surrounding area.

'Farmers and ranchers couldn't do what they do without local businesses that support them and understand the needs of today's agriculture,' commented Scott VanderWal, SDFB President and family farmer from Volga, S.D. 'It's our pleasure to recognize Southside Farm Services and the work they do to sustain and grow agriculture in Corsica and the surrounding community.'

They are shown here with members of the Douglas County Farm Bureau who were in attendance at the convention. Douglas County Farm Bureau nominated the VandenHoeks for this award.
