Heads In Helmets is an award-winning, national community outreach initiative (www.headsinhelmets.com) that was founded by attorney Howard Spiva and the non-profit Justice 4 Children Foundation to provide free safety helmets to children and teens. The purpose of the program is to promote awareness and prevention of traumatic head injuries among children and young adults.

 

Sloan, Bagley, Hatcher & Perry Law Firm (www.sloanfirm.com) is the first national ambassador for Heads In Helmets. The Sloan Firm is one of the sponsors of The 2015 Houston Creole Heritage Festival.

 

WHAT:

Volunteers from The Sloan Firm and Heads In Helmets will custom-fit up to 1,000 children and teens with free safety helmets. Volunteers will also provide information about the prevention of traumatic head injuries. Helmets will be available on a first come, first served basis to children and teens who are accompanied by a parent or adult guardian aged 18 or older.
