Cynthia Aikman Joins Generations Bank Board of Directors

Seneca Falls, N.Y. - Generations Bank announces today that Cynthia Aikman joined its board of directors effective January 1, 2018.

Aikman is a business development specialist and serves as a mentor and coach to area managers and CEOs and organizations. Aikman holds a Master's Degree in Public Administration with a Concentration in State & Local Finance from Syracuse University Maxwell School, a Bachelor Degree in Biology from State University of New York at Oneonta and is a Certified Economic Development Finance Professional from the National Development Council.

She has decades of public and community service experience and currently is a member of the Cayuga Economic Development Agency (CEDA) Board of Directors, Cayuga Community Fund Leadership Council and the Founder & Trustee of the Cayuga Women's Business Trust Fund.

She has received numerous recognitions including the Phyllis Goldman Encouragement Award for Women (2010), Leadership Cayuga Leadership Award (2003), the Women in Business Syracuse Regions award (2003), 40 under Forty class of 2001 and is a graduate of Leadership Cayuga class of 1996.

She resides in Auburn with her husband Walt and has two children.
