LONDON, July 2 (Reuters) - Revolut's UK banking licence application is "progressing well" but there are "a lot of steps" in the process and no timeline for when the fintech could get one, the company's UK CEO Francesca Carlesi told Reuters on Tuesday

Revolut first applied for a UK banking licence in 2021 but is yet to get approval.

Declining to specify a timeline for a possible initial public offering, Revolut’s interim chief financial officer Victor Stinga said the company was "taking steps in making sure that our control environment trends towards a level you require as a public company."
