Proxy Analytics LLC today announced its launch as a corporate governance intelligence firm focused on providing superior insight into trends in corporate governance and voting by institutional investors. Founded by industry experts with decades of experience in corporate governance consulting and data analytics, the firm will be led by Steven Pantina, an industry veteran who has over fifteen years’ experience working with corporate clients to provide strategic governance advice and proxy solicitation services.

Proxy Analytics provides clients with a full suite of corporate governance data and analytics through its online platform, Access Governance. By capturing and synthesizing tens of millions of data points annually and utilizing modern analytical tools, the firm helps its clients develop a critical understanding about the factors that influence institutional investor voting practices.

In conjunction with Access Governance, the firm offers governance advisory services to help support clients evaluate data, predict the outcomes of votes before they take place, and make informed decisions about their governance practices. Taken together, the firm’s products and services empower clients with the ability to more efficiently analyze matters of critical importance and effectively engage with their shareholder base.

“We are incredibly excited to launch Proxy Analytics and to bring our modern approach to the corporate governance decision-making process,” said Steven Pantina, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Proxy Analytics. “Companies are increasingly embracing analytics as a critical component to their decision-making process. They understand that market conditions change quickly, and the right combination of experience and technology can make all the difference when trying to make the most informed decision possible. Proxy Analytics was formed with the belief that the governance industry has under-utilized the power of technology and data analytics to generate actionable intelligence that is also easily accessible. By bringing together a team of governance and technology professionals that have provided consulting and advisory services to some of the largest companies in the world, our firm provides clients with on-demand access to the latest trends in corporate governance and superior insight into the factors motivating institutional voting practices.”

Prior to founding Proxy Analytics, Mr. Pantina served as a Senior Managing Director at two leading proxy solicitation firms, Georgeson LLC and Morrow Sodali, where he specialized in providing corporate governance consulting and related services to corporate issuers on a wide variety of matters. He has written and spoken extensively on trends in corporate governance, including as lead author of Georgeson’s Annual Corporate Governance Review and contributed to publications such as the Society for Corporate Governance’s Manual for Solicitation of Proxies and The Conference Board’s Shareholder Activism Report: Best Practices and Engagement Tools for Public Companies. Mr. Pantina holds a Juris Doctorate, Cum Laude, from Seton Hall University School of Law, and a bachelor’s degree, Magna Cum Laude, from Rider University.
