EXPERT ALERTS:

So You've Won the Lottery ... Now What?
Peter Lazaroff, CFA, CFP
Wealth Manager
Plancorp
"First, interview multiple advisors and understand different credentials. CFA, CFP, CPA are all considered the most respected designations in the financial advice industry. There are a lot of designations that don't require much work to obtain and sometimes even just require an annual due to use the designation. Second, pay attention to fees."
Lazaroff has a reoccurring spot on the local FOX News affiliate in St. Louis and regularly writes about market conditions for mainstream publications and industry trades.

Three Reasons Why Traveling With a Friend Can Maximize Your Vacation Fun
Anita Covic
Travel Destination Specialist
TripTogether
"Going on a journey with awesome travel buddies means you will always have someone to laugh with, to talk to, and to share those magical moments with. Meet travel companions and erase 'boredom' and 'loneliness' from your vocabulary. The more experienced travelers can share their advice and the less experienced can gain invaluable travel knowledge. Traveling together is a brilliant way to exchange information and grow, not only as a traveler but also as a person. Most importantly: It's cheaper. Save your wallet by sharing your trip. Traveling together opens up the possibility of splitting taxi fare, sharing food expenses, and paying less for rooms at hotels. If traveling in a larger group, you can also benefit from 'group fares,' available at most attractions and museums."
TripTogether is a social platform connecting travelers around the world. The site motivates and inspires travelers to talk about trips, sites visited, recommendations and more. TripTogether allows members to plan the trip, get advice from locals, find travel companions and share experiences. Via the TripTogether mobile app, members chat on-the-go with 50,000 other active members. Other benefits include uploading travel photos directly from your phone, asking locals for advice, planning trips and inviting others to join you and more.

Deposition Tips for Camille Cosby
Joe Ahmad
Executive Employment Lawyer
Ahmad, Zavitsanos, Anaipakos, Alavi & Mensing P.C., or AZA
Camille Cosby, wife of comedy legend Bill Cosby, may have received a temporary reprieve when a magistrate judge delayed her deposition in a civil defamation case. However, it's a safe bet she will be called to testify at some point in the civil or criminal proceedings over her husband's alleged sexual misconduct. Given the high stakes and Mrs. Cosby's high profile, she needs to gird herself for a lengthy and difficult proceeding. Says Ahmad: "The other side's lawyers are going to try to put her on edge and make her lose her cool, and she can't let them. She also needs to resist the temptation to make disparaging comments about Mr. Cosby's accusers. That doesn't go over well with anybody. Her goal needs to be to avoid making the opposing side's highlight reel with a big mistake that they could use to help make their case."
