The Pacific Life Foundation announced today that it has awarded $180,500 in grants to nonprofit organizations in the greater Lynchburg, Virginia area. Grants totaling $80,000 have been awarded to 13 local nonprofit organizations in the areas of arts and culture; civic, community and environment; education; and health and human services. The 2018 Virginia recipients include:

The Pacific Life 3T’s of Education program has awarded a total of $50,500 in grants to local K-12 schools where concentrations of children and grandchildren of Pacific Life employees attend. The educational grants must be designated in one of the following areas: teacher training, textbooks or technology. The 16 Lynchburg area schools include:
