FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: 1/3/17 Ben Bowman Joins Peoples State Bank Wausau, Wis. - January 3, 2017 - Peoples State Bank announces the addition of Ben Bowman as IT director. He will oversee the IT and operating systems supporting the bank's reporting and customer needs.

Bowman previously worked for Peoples as an IT specialist, and returns back to Peoples after working for the past three years as a lead network operations center engineer.

"I am excited to return to the Peoples team, and look forward to supporting and developing our information technology initiatives," said Bowman. "My main priority is to deliver excellent service to our customers, both internal and external, and provide secure and intuitive technology solutions."

Bowman holds a bachelor's degree in information and communication technologies from UW-Stout and multiple certifications related to information security and networking.

He resides in Wausau with his wife and daughter and enjoys physical fitness, running, and spending family time at their cabin. Bowman served on the committee for the Humane Society of Marathon County - Run for Their Lives 5K and also has a special interest in charities that benefit cancer research.
