PHT Corporation will conduct a webinar entitled "eCOA Data for Inflammation and Arthritis Research" February 12 at 10-11am and 2-3pm EST. PHT is the leading provider of technologies used to collect patient-driven eData for clinical research.

Patient-reported outcome (PRO) and electronic PRO (ePRO) measures are standard tools for directly eliciting the patient experience for clinical outcome assessments (COAs). Inflammation trials have been leveraging COAs and electronic COAs (eCOAs) for submissions since 1998.

PHT has been collecting patient- and clinician-reported data for inflammation and arthritis trials since 2006. Operational data analysis showing key metrics for compliance and the best practices established by collecting eCOA data from 650+ global trials will be examined in the webinar.

The webinar will be led by Vice President of Clinical Science and Consulting Services Susan M. Dallabrida PhD and Scientific Advisor Sarah Tressel Gary PhD.

This webinar will:

  • Review current literature of clinical trial outcome assessments in inflammation trials, focusing on rheumatoid arthritis, inflammatory bowel disease and systemic lupus erythematosus
  • Discuss patient preference for electronic PRO vs paper PRO within inflammation studies, and evaluate compliance and data quality between electronic and paper data collection
  • Present concordant relationships between PROs and clinician reported outcomes (ClinROs) in rheumatoid arthritis trials
  • Discuss effective trial designs, use of standardized and non-standardized instruments in inflammation trials and incorporation of ClinRO and ClinRO scoring on devices

Incorporation of these findings may be used to power more efficient inflammation and arthritis studies, and eCOA trial design and use. Register at http://bit.ly/19NW25E
