Caracas.- People's Minister of Petroleum and Mining and President of Petróleos de Venezuela, S.A. (PDVSA), Eulogio Del Pino, led a massive mobilization in support of the Oil Collective Bargaining Agreement 2015-2017, which provides benefits to workers and their families, giving priority to social benefits.

Minister Del Pino said that 'Venezuela has a solid oil company which defends the revolution, and will not allow its sovereignty to be tainted, as the unpatriotic right has tried to make us see'.

With regard to the low oil prices, the oil minister said: 'Our president Nicolás Maduro has been clear about our position. We must bring back the fundamental principles of OPEC. We will not rest until those prices recover. There must be a fair price'.

Oil workers raise their voices in gratitude to the Bolivarian government for the benefits of this new social wage included in the oil collective bargaining agreement.

Pedro Guzmán, representative of the patriotic committees, said that the working class is united. 'The Bolivarian government is vindicating socially and economically the oil workers. We condemn all attacks of the extreme right'.

Eduardo Márquez, from PDVSA Gas Management, expressed his loyalty to the leaders of the revolution. 'Here we stay loyal to Eternal Commander Hugo Chávez. You can count on us, President Nicolás Maduro. We come to defend the homeland. We are thankful for these vindications', he said.

The Bolivarian government protects the oil workers with a contractual commitment that guarantees the construction 21st century socialism.
