[Attachment] COLUMBUS (January 23, 2017) Although Ohioans will likely experience premium increases, they'll likely not be as severe as in most other parts of the US, based on 2014 auto and homeowners insurance average premium expenditure reports released by the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC).
The Buckeye state's average homeowners insurance premium ranks 9th lowest in the US and Ohio's average auto insurance premium expenditure is 12th lowest. Both reports were released this month. These are the same state rankings reported last year which were based on NAIC 2013 auto and homeowners insurance data. (VIEW OII REPORT)
