Lynn Martin, President of the New York Stock Exchange, noted that the current uncertainty and volatility is prompting companies to plan ahead for their initial public offerings (IPOs). She underlined the international appeal of the exchange by announcing the imminent arrival of major companies such as Amer Sports and Flutter, illustrating the interest of global companies in the US market.

Martin discussed valuation adjustments in the private sector, noting that companies are more willing to accept valuation revisions in order to access public capital, citing Reddit as an example.

Finally, Martin observed that the ubiquitous use of technology in today's digital age has transformed all companies into technology businesses, regardless of their sector of origin. She said that the NYSE is distinguished by its role as the custodian of the capital markets and does not consider itself to have any direct competitors.
