NOC National Oil : The General Assembly Annual Meeting of Harouge Oil Operations Nafusa Oil Operations B.V & Mediterranean Oil Company

The Annual General Assembly Meeting of Harouge Oil Operations was held on 31 December 2015 at NOC headquarters in Tripoli. The meeting was attended by NOC Chairman, Mr. Mustafa Sanalla, NOC Board Members, and a number of NOC directors and managers from various departments, and the Observers' Committee as well as the Chairman of Harouge Mr. Abdul-Wahab Naami and the Harouge Management Board.

NOC Chairman pointed out the challenges and difficulties which face the oil sector in general and praised the collaborative work carried out by Harouge along with the other oil companies to overcome all challenges. He pointed out the company's efforts made to in order to resume production and pump oil from Amal field to Zuwetina field.

Harouge gave an overview of the major incidents that took place at its oil sites, and a summary of the losses and damage. The activities of the company's departments were also displayed, including HSE, Safety of the production sites and the budget of 2015 and 2016.

The Observers Committee report was displayed and some comments were discussed.

NOC Chairman emphasized that the company should reduce spending as much as possible, and focus the spending on areas that guarantee the continuation of work and production. The meeting was concluded with a number of recommendations given by the Chairman and Board of NOC.

The General Assembly Meeting of Nafusa Oil Operations B.V.

At the following session, the meeting of the General Assembly of Nafusa Oil Operations B.V. was held. It was attended by NOC Chairman and Board Members, and a number of NOC directors and managers from various departments, and the Observers' Committee as well as Chairman of Nafusa and the Management Board.

NOC Chairman pointed out that Nafusa is in the early stages of developing Hamada field located at Ghadames basin and stated that the company is working hard to reach advanced stages of the project despite the current challenges and difficulties in the country.

A presentation was given on the activities of the company's departments including HSE, Planning and Reservoir Development, Engineering and Projects Department and Human Resources. The Safety situation and its impact on the company's activities was also covered. The budget of 2015 and 2016 were outlined.

At the conclusion of the meeting, recommendations and comments were given by the NOC Chairman and Board.

The General Assembly Meeting for Mediterranean Oil Company

The meeting was attended by NOC Chairman, NOC Board Members, and a number of NOC directors and managers from various departments, and a member from the Court of Audit, as well as the Chairman and Board of Med Oil.

The company's activities during 2015 and itstargets for 2016 were demonstrated. The performed procedures relating to the company's assets were explained. The approval of the final accounts of the company for the years 2011 and 2012 was discussed. The presentation also covered the ongoing maintenance and investments projects, as well as the income and the financial status of the company.

Recommendations and comments by NOC Chairman and Board were given at the end of the meeting.
