The Senate Republican and Democratic committee assignments for the 115 Congress have been announced. Key committees impacting the recreational boating industry include Commerce, Science & Transportation, Energy & Natural Resources, and Environment & Public Works (EPW). NMMA will continue to work with boating champions including Marco Rubio (R), Lisa Murkowski (R), Bill Nelson (D), Joe Manchin (D), James Inhofe (R), Cory Booker (D), and Sheldon Whitehouse (D), and looks forward to building relationships with new members including Maggie Hassan (D), working with her on boating commerce issues, and with the new EPW Chair, John Barrasso (R).
