Spokesman of National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC) Majid Boujarzadeh said that there is no problem in exporting gas to Turkey. According to the report of the public relations of the NIGC, he added that the company exported some 27 million cubic meters of gas per day to Turkey over the past week and does not have any difficulty to pump Iran's gas to neighboring country. 'Thanks to proper management from NIGC, Turkmenistan cut off gas deliveries to Iran has no effect on gas supplies for Northern provinces of the country,' he said, adding also there has been no problem in the gas flow to Turkey over the last week. Iran is ready to export gas to Iraq as soon as the Iraqi side expresses readiness to import, Boujarzadeh said. Iran and Turkey signed a 25-year contract in 1996 for annual export of up to 10 billion cubic meters of gas. Turkey began to import gas from Iran since December 10, 2011. It's worth mentioning that, Iran is Turkey's second-largest gas supplier.
