Ministry of National Defense of Socialist Repu : Young officers of Vietnam, China boost exchange

(Bqp.vn) - Lieutenant General Do Can, Deputy - Director of the General Department of Politics (GDP) of the Vietnam People's Army hosted a reception for a visiting young officer delegation from the People's Liberation Army of China, led by Senior Colonel Zhou Hongping, Deputy-Head of the Office of the Southern Theater's Joint Staff Department, at the headquarters of the Ministry of National Defense on January 15.

On behalf of the GDP's leadership, Lieutenant General Do Can hailed the visit, he hoped that such a visit to Vietnam and exchanges with young Vietnamese officers would help bolster the friendship between the two armies and peoples, contributing to reinforcing the bilateral cooperative ties, friendship and mutual trust.

On behalf of the young Chinese officer delegation, Senior Colonel Zhou Hongping thanked the host for a warm and gracious welcome. He highlighted the positive outcomes of the cooperation between the two armies, in general and the two countries' young officers, in particular and hoped that the two sides would foster exchanges and cooperation in a more pragmatic and effective manner in the time to come.
