(SHADA: TEHRAN) - The Deputy for Iran-Sweden Joint Chamber of Commerce Abdolreza Rezaei said on Saturday that investment opportunities and political stability in Iran serve as an encouragement for Swedish companies to invest in the country.

Addressing a joint meeting of the Iran-Sweden Joint Chamber of Commerce and Organisation for Investment, Economic & Technical Assistance of Iran (OIETAI), Rezaie referred to Iran's Foreign Investment Promotion and Protection Act (FIPPA) as more advantageous and lucrative than similar incentive packages offered in other countries in the region.

He went on to note that Iran-Sweden Joint Chamber of Commerce is prepared to hold an educational seminar in cooperation with the OIETAI to introduce investment opportunities of the Islamic Republic to foreign investors and members of the chamber.

Meanwhile, the Head of Deputy of Foreign Investment Promotion at the OIETAI, Hassan Khodayari, expressed his Organisation's readiness to cooperate with Iranian-Swedish Chamber for the implementation of agreed projects so as to expand commercial, economic and investment relations between the two sides.
