Meat producer Danish Crown to cut 300-400 jobs, most in the UK

COPENHAGEN (Reuters) - Top European pork producer Danish Crown said on Wednesday it will cut between 300 and 400 jobs, most of them in the UK, as part of a cost-cutting programme.

Danish Crown said the move was partly due to declining profits in the UK, where it employs roughly 7,000 people.
