METI Ministry of Economy Trade and Industry of : Eleventh Round of Negotiations (Chief Delegates' Meetings, DG/DDG Meetings) on a Free Trade Agreement among Japan, China and the ROK to be Held

The Eleventh round of negotiations (Chief Delegates' Meetings, DG/DDG Meetings) on a Free Trade Agreement (FTA) among Japan, China and the Republic of Korea (ROK) will be held in Beijing, from January 9 to 11.

The eleventh round of negotiations (Chief Delegates' Meetings, DG/DDG Meetings) on a Free Trade Agreement (FTA) among Japan, China and the Republic of Korea (ROK) will be held in Beijing, from January 9 to 11.

From the Japanese side, Mr. Keiichi Katakami, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs (Chief Delegate), Mr. Akihiko Tamura, Deputy Director-General for Trade Policy, Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and representatives from other relevant Ministries will attend the meeting., From the Chinese side and the Korean side, Mr.Wang Shouwen, Vice Minister of Commerce of the People's Republic of China (Chief Delegate) and the Korean Chief delegate, and other Chinese and Korean representatives will attend the meeting.

In this round of negotiations, areas such as Trade in Goods, Trade in Services, Investment, amongst others, will be discussed.
