This is your last chance to be a part of the LAVC's EOPS/CARE and the Guardian Scholars foster youth programs for Spring 2016! The deadline to apply has been extended until 12 p.m. on February 5. Apply today!

The LAVC Extended Opportunity Programs and Services (EOPS)/CARE Office and the Guardian Scholars foster youth program is accepting new students for the Spring 2016 semester. Applications will now be accepted until Friday, February 5 at 12 p.m. in the EOPS/CARE Office on the second floor of the Student Services Center.

EOPS/CARE provides eligible students who come from populations that have historically experienced economic and educational challenges with resources and services to help them succeed. It provides academic, career and personal counseling, one-on-one tutoring, textbook vouchers, workshops, priority registration, progress monitoring and other services to help increase access, retention and goal completion of students.

The Guardian Scholars is a new foster youth program that provides support for current and former foster youth attending Valley College.
