However, no settlement was reached and we have agreed to hold further bargaining meetings with MUNZ next week on Wednesday 25 January and Thursday 26 January.

Our goal is to try and negotiate a settlement soon.

Despite the progress made, we have received a further strike notice from MUNZ covering three days from Friday 3 February to Sunday 5 February. This is in addition to the notices for Friday 20 and Saturday 21 January, and Friday 27 and Saturday 28 January.

LPC is legally challenging the validity of the latest strike notice. We will update you on the outcome of this challenge soon.

While we view it as positive that progress is being made in mediated bargaining, we remain disappointed that MUNZ is continuing to issue strike notices during negotiations.

We appreciate your patience during this time and we will keep you updated.
