Jones Walker LLP announced today that the firm has elected 15 new partners and two new board members, effective January 1, 2017. The new partners include special counsel attorneys Alexander N. Alexander N. Breckinridge, V, a member of the Corporate Compliance & White Collar Defense Team in the New Orleans office, focuses on securities litigation and enforcement, corporate governance litigation, corporate compliance, and complex commercial litigation.

Charles J. Boudreaux, Jr., a member of the Business & Commercial Litigation Practice Group in the Lafayette office, defends healthcare providers in medical malpractice litigation, risk management, and transactional and regulatory healthcare matters, the latter including joint ventures, contractual, and compliance matters.

Theodore W. Jones, a member of the Corporate & Securities Practice Group and Private Equity Team in the Baton Rouge office, advises public and private companies, private equity and venture capital funds, and individual and institutional investors in a variety of transactional and regulatory matters.

Daniel J. Martin, a member of the Business & Commercial Litigation Practice Group in the Birmingham office, is a litigator who focuses on governmental investigations and enforcement actions, white-collar criminal defense, healthcare fraud, business disputes, employment litigation, and appellate matters.

Edward R. Shohat, a member of the Business & Commercial Litigation Practice Group in the Miami office, focuses on state and federal white collar crime and related forfeitures, as well as the defense of civil RICO cases and matters involving the U.S. Patriot Act, Sarbanes-Oxley, and corporate compliance issues.

Laura F. Ashley, a member of the Business & Commercial Litigation Practice Group in the New Orleans office, represents and counsels a diverse group of national companies, particularly in the areas of commercial bankruptcy litigation, foreclosure litigation, and complex litigation.

Christopher D. Cazenave, a member of the Business & Commercial Litigation Practice Group in the New Orleans office, focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation in both federal and state courts, with a concentration on construction law.

Victoria Gallo Davies, a member of the Business & Commercial Transactions Practice Group in the New Orleans office, focuses on commercial contracting for routine business operations and capital projects, such as drafting and negotiating master service, purchase, consulting, engineering, construction, and other similar agreements and aircraft purchase, lease, and charter agreements, for companies in a variety of industries.

Lindsay Thomas Dowdle, a member of the Labor & Employment Practice Group in the Jackson office, defends employers in litigation involving a variety of employment claims in both federal and state courts. She also works with employers to develop workplace policies and procedures to effectively comply with state and federal employment law, and to limit exposure to employment claims and related litigation.

Christopher H. Ezell, a member of the Business & Commercial Litigation Practice Group in the Mobile office, works closely with banking and financial services clients on business and commercial disputes. Mr. Ezell focuses on both litigation involving real estate and unsecured and secured lending, and has extensive experience in post-judgment collections across multiple states. Mr. Ezell also handles transactional matters involving real estate and unsecured and secured lending.

P.J. Kee, a member of the Labor & Employment Practice Group in the New Orleans office, focuses on protecting clients from — as well as defending clients against alleged—trade secret theft, computer fraud and abuse, unfair competition, conspiracies, and non-compete violations. Mr. Kee also represents clients in criminal defense matters.

Kaytie M. Pickett, a member of the Business & Commercial Litigation Practice Group in the Jackson office, focuses her practice in the areas of commercial litigation, real property litigation, construction law, and appellate law.

Daniella Genet Silberstein, a member of the Corporate & Securities Practice Group in the New Orleans office, focuses her practice on mergers and acquisitions, securities law, and corporate governance.

Mary Margaret Spell, a member of the Labor & Employment Practice Group in the New Orleans office, focuses on wage and hour compliance and litigation with substantial experience representing employers in class, collective, and individual actions under federal and state wage and hour laws. Her practice also includes defending employers in cases involving allegations of employment discrimination, harassment, and retaliation under federal, state, and local laws.

Blair B. Suire, a member of the Intellectual Property Practice Team in the Lafayette office, represents clients in the process of protecting and enforcing patent rights, trademarks, and copyrights. Ms. Suire handles patent and trademark applications in the United States and abroad in a variety of technical fields.
