NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - Jan 4, 2016) - JoAnna Moore began her career directly out of college as a music teacher. At the end of her first teaching year, she married and relocated in the fall, making it impossible to secure a teaching position for the upcoming school year. She interviewed for and secured a job in the property-casualty insurance field instead, and found that she loved it. Applying her skills as an outstanding communicator and educator, proficient observer and effective evaluator, JoAnna was a natural fit in her new career.

Ms. Moore began her collegiate career at the prestigious Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama; one of the top universities in the South. After earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education, she has committed herself to remaining a lifetime learner, continuing to embrace any opportunity to take a course, run a seminar or attend a lecture.

In 1981, Ms. Moore was promoted to a Casualty Field Representative (CFR) with Mercury Insurance Services, LLC. JoAnna Moore advanced quickly in the company; from her early years as a CFR to becoming a Chief Claims Officer, a position she held for over 18 years, finally advancing to Senior Vice President of Claims, where she oversaw more than 2,000 employees in 13 states. In August of 2013, Ms. Moore resigned from her CCO position in Claims and became an executive consultant, responsible for employee coaching and training at Mercury. This became the launching pad from which she founded her own company, J. Moore Consulting Services (JMC) after she retired from Mercury in 2014.

With over 34 years in the insurance field, JoAnna Moore combined her education, technical skill, client service ability, employee training/mentoring experience and skilled financial planning into J. Moore Consulting Services, a top consulting firm in the Orange County area.

J. Moore Consulting offers the legal community and the property & casualty insurance carrier invaluable claim process reviews, insurance consulting services and expert witness review and testimony. JMC delivers an objective and thorough analysis, review, and competent evaluation of property-casualty insurance claims, both first and third party. Additionally, they review cases to assure that insurance clients meet standard claims process and practice criteria, adhere to Fair Claims Practices Act Regulations and maintain proper overall management/handling of claims.

JMC assists its clients through the complete claims process and if necessary, they are available to assist in litigation support services. Ms. Moore and her firm have hands-on experience with the complete process from claim to trial. Working directly with organizations, firms and individuals, JMC also utilizes their experience and skills by teaching anxiety reduction strategies, practicing testimony through role playing and mock trial, while supporting clients through each step of the process.

Building on both her personal and the firm's core values of credibility, honesty and integrity, JoAnna Moore is highly respected by her clients and peers, as well as the insurance and legal communities of the clients her firm serves.
