Halifax Regional Municipality : Update-Quinpool Road Lane Closures for Sewer Lateral Repair

Attention motorists and pedestrians, sewer lateral repairs currently underway on Quinpool Road will continue into the early evening hours.

This work requires the continued closure of the two inbound lanes near 6687 Quinpool Road and Parkwood Terrace. The closure will be required into the early evening hours. The two outbound lanes have been converted to one lane of traffic in each direction.

Sidewalks remain open.

Experienced traffic control personnel are on-site to ensure smooth traffic and pedestrian flow around the work zone. On site personnel will also maintain communication with local residents and businesses to help minimize disruption. Motorists are asked to use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
