Minister of Finance Bill Morneau will be in Toronto for pre-budget consultations on Wednesday, January 13, 2016.

Public Policy Forum

Minister Morneau will participate in the Growing Canada's Economy conference hosted by the Public Policy Forum, as part of his pre-budget consultations. Minister Morneau will make opening remarks at 11:00 a.m. He will actively participate in the entire conference, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The conference will take place in the Campbell Conference Room of the Munk School of Global Affairs, 1 Devonshire Place, in Toronto, Ontario. The conference is open to media.

Syrian refugee welcome centre

Minister Morneau will then visit a Syrian refugee welcome centre, Central Neighbourhood House, 349 Ontario Street, in Toronto.

A photo opportunity will take place at 3:30 p.m. at the welcome centre, and a media availability at 3:50 p.m.

Roundtable

Minister Morneau will also hold a roundtable with financial sector representatives.
