GlobalTranz Enterprises, Inc., a leading technology-driven freight management solution provider, today announced it has hired Mike Sutter as vice president of agent acquisition. In this role, Mike will manage the company’s freight agent recruiting and the expansion of GlobalTranz’ freight agent network as GlobalTranz continues to grow its market share in the freight brokerage industry.

Prior to joining GlobalTranz, Mike was the director of freight agent recruiting for England Logistics. With 10+ years of experience in sales and business development for companies with an agent-centric business model, including Farm Bureau Financial Services, Mike is well positioned to help GlobalTranz grow its freight agent channel.

“I’m excited to be a part of the tremendous growth going on at GlobalTranz,” said Mike Sutter, vice president of agent acquisition for GlobalTranz. “In the logistics industry, customer service and reliability are critical. Freight agents enable GlobalTranz to build strong shipper and carrier relationships at all levels – local, national and international. I look forward to contributing to GlobalTranz’ expansion of this business model.”

Mike’s appointment follows GlobalTranz’ announcement earlier this week on the appointment of Dave Bush as senior vice president of carrier relations, clearly demonstrating GlobalTranz’ commitment to running a world-class freight brokerage technology and logistics services company, and continuing to operate as a growth company.

“The freight agent model is a critical cornerstone in our business strategy and Mike’s expertise in this area will be extremely valuable,” said Bob Farrell, chief executive officer of GlobalTranz. “We have aggressive growth objectives for 2017, and we are well-positioned to accelerate our growth in both revenue and market share.”
