Lt. Governor Casey Cagle will be speaking at the 2017 GACS convention in Sandestin, June 25th-27th. The theme for 2017 is 'Wheel of Convenience!'
We are thrilled the Lt. Governor will be joining us at convention next year,' said GACS President, Angela Holland. 'GACS is proud to welcome the Lt. Governor and share with him the economic and social impact our members have on the state of Georgia.'
A former State Senator from Gainesville, Casey Cagle was the first Republican elected as Lt. Governor in 2006. Through his leadership as Lt. Governor, Cagle leads Healthy Kids Georgia, an effort to encourage local partnerships that introduce children to healthy lifestyle options. He has also launched the Georgia College and Career Academy Network, a partnership between local community leaders, school systems, and Georgia's technical colleges. This will be the first time the Lt. Governor has addressed the members of the C-store industry.
