The Chief of the Presidential Experts' Directorate and the Russian G20 Sherpa Ksenia Yudaeva granted an interview to the information portal Gazeta.ru.

Ksenia Yudaeva commented on the questions on international coordination mechanisms and implementation of the obligations taken by the G20 member-countries. She also depicted the main vectors of discussion on the issue of investment financing in the G20 within the Russian Presidency year.

"The Russian Presidency agenda will be focused on developing not only macro-, but also microeconomic policy measures," - the Russian Sherpa noted. - "As experts say, it is a primarily 'microeconomic' year for the G20".

Talking about the challenges that the Russian economy will be facing this decade, Ksenia Yudaeva put special emphasis on high labor costs, positive rate of interest and infrastructural limitations.

"These challenges make significant difference in terms of comparing the current situation with the pre-crisis conditions, which we used to perceive as 'normal'; but there is no way back", - Yudaeva commented.
