Fried Frank acted as counsel to AEA Investors LP and its portfolio company, VC GB Holdings I Corp. (VCC), in the sale of a majority stake in VCC to Goldman Sachs and Leonard Green & Partners, LP. VCC is a lighting manufacturer that designs and manufacturers lighting fixtures for consumers through e-commerce and brick and mortar locations. The investment will enable Visual Comfort & Co. to further expand its leading position as the industry's preeminent branded resource for decorative and architectural lighting and ceiling fans. The transaction is expected to close in the third quarter of 2021.
